The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient’s overall health with 76 markers. It provides an accurate evaluation of intestinal yeast and bacteria. Abnormally high levels of these microorganisms can cause or worsen behavior disorders, hyperactivity, movement disorders, fatigue and immune function. Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders often excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine. The cause of these high levels could include oral antibiotic use, high sugar diets, immune deficiencies, acquired infections, as well as genetic factors.
Our Organic Acids Test also includes markers for vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter levels, and is the only OAT to include markers for oxalates, which are highly correlated with many chronic illnesses.
Collection Method: Urine
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis Test ($447)
Your minerals levels include your electrolytes which provide you with the energy you need to get through your busy day, as well as buffer the effects of stress. No test is better at assessing these levels or looking at potential heavy metal toxicity than the Complete Minerals & Metal Test.
Collection Method: Hair Sample
Thyroid Adrenal Hormone Test ($599)
It’s absolutely vital that you know exactly what your hormone levels are as you age. Plus, if you’re dealing with any type of lowered mood, metabolism or mojo this is the time to get tested. If your goal is losing weight, we want you to know that it has less to do with daily caloric intake or how much you exercise and everything to do with hormone balance, cortisol levels and metabolism.
Add hidden inflammation to the list and it’s little wonder why you haven’t been able to lose weight and keep it off! This easy, at-home lab test measures your levels of thyroid, adrenal output, and hormones. Plus, we’ll assess how well your blood sugar levels are being managed and where your vitamin D levels are at for optimal health, longevity & immunity!
Collection Method: Saliva & Finger Prick
We are currently measuring 11 different mycotoxins in our test from a wide variety of 13 mold types (genera) including Aspergillus, Penicillium, Fusarium, Myrothecium, Stachybotrys, Bipolaris, Gibberella, Chaetomium, Trichoderma, Trichothecium, Cephalosporium, Verticimonosporium, and Monascus. Since each of these genera contain multiple species, the MycoTOX Profile is likely to detect hundreds of mold species. In addition, poisonous mushrooms also produce some of the same mycotoxins as the molds. This makes the MycoTOX Profile the most comprehensive test on the market and it is the most cost-effective.
Collection Method: Urine
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) food testing is a useful guide for structuring elimination diets for patients with many chronic conditions. Individuals with neurological, gastrointestinal, movement, and behavioral disorders often suffer from IgG food sensitivities. People may continue to eat offending foods unaware of their potential adverse effects. Symptoms associated with food sensitivities may occur hours or days after the offending food was eaten because IgG food antibodies remain for a much longer time than IgE antibodies. IgE food allergy causes the release of histamine, producing an immediate hypersensitivity reaction. In contrast, IgG food sensitivity is triggered by the binding of complement to IgG food antigen complexes, causing an inflammatory response. This is a delayed hypersensitivity reaction in which symptoms appear anywhere from hours to days after eating the offending food. Elimination of IgG-positive foods may improve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, autism, AD(H)D, cystic fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and epilepsy, according to numerous clinical studies.
This test includes a wide range of foods (190 of them!), common in the Western, Asian, and Mediterranean diets. We have added a hemp allergy marker because it is very common now as a food source or as medical CBD.
Collection Method: Dried Blood Spot
